Armando (Upcoming book)

We are born, we grow up and we forget we’ve ever been children.
But childhood should be, by all means, worshipped.
That unique, unrepeatable time where our unawareness
saves and protects us.

This is why I decided, through this project, to stop time
by documenting the last childhood summer of my cousin Armando.
Eleven years of age is a time where childhood slowly starts to fade,
leaving space for another stage of one’s life: adolescence.

A very fragile, precious moment that holds, still, the levity
and spontaneity of those years.
